Bad Sweater Guy: Another reason to live in Chicago

The story

Not so long ago, my friend Kevin cleaned out his wardrobe, which, due to his pack rat nature, was crammed with clothes he hadn't worn in more than a decade. Among the discarded were 25 sweaters that can generously be described as "hideous." Or, as one critic put it, "Bill Cosby would not wear this." Kevin's defense? "I worked at Marshalls in North Olmsted, Ohio, during high school and got a 15 percent discount. It was cold. It was the late '80s." The horror, the horror. Click here to see them, but be warned. Another reason to live in Chicago

If you're a fan of actual vintage clothing and happen to live in the Chicago area, you need to stop by Ragstock. The place always has lots of cool stuff, and it's a great place to go to give you ideas for your Halloween costume. Actually Ragstock has shops throughout the Midwest, but as far as I know, the Chicago location in Wicker Park is the only one using the awesome poster below to direct foot traffic to the vintage sweater collection. My husband received a desk calender with funny and whacky websites and I found this one!Hilarious!I'm 42 and I know I'm getting old because those seasonal sweaters with pumpkins and scarecrows or xmas stuff on them that my friends mothers wore are starting to appeal to me. HELP! SAVE ME!!
